Hostel Volunteering in Ecuador
As a volunteer you will be involved in several important tasks. Some of these are receiving our guest at the hostel, helping to plan and promote social initiatives within the hostel facilities (including social games, pub nights at the bar that we are opening, movie nights, etc.) , in the same way organizing activities for our guests. Volunteers may also be needed to help in the restaurant kitchen to serve tourists. We urge volunteers to come with an open mind and their own initiative.

Minumum Requirements
- Age 18- 38
- Cultural tolerance and open-mindedness
- A minimum of 2 weeks commitment
- High level of independence and flexibility
- Average level of Spanish
- Motivation to work with tourists
Expectations from our volunteers in Banos Ecuador
- Volunteers are expected to work 6h30 hours per day, 6 days per week during their time volunteering.
- A minimum of 21 days
- Volunteers are expected to follow the same rules as all staff members and to perform their duties promptly and consistently. Volunteers are also expected to exhibit respect and concern for the hostel’s guests and staff.
- Volunteers are expected to be part of the Erupcion Hostel & Restaurant team, which includes attending staff meetings and contributing to the overall mission and goals of hostel.
