This is another very popular activity for tourists; it gives you the opportunity to enjoy all the nature and the waterfalls at your own pace without having to worry about the groups, and get a bit of exercise while you are at it.
You will start in the agency, where you will receive a safety briefing, as well as directions to the waterfalls you will visit along the way. As well the agency will provide you a repair kit, helmet and a map of the road.
After cycling for 20 minutes along the Banos-Puyo road, you will arrive at the first waterfall, the Agoyán Waterfall, where you can cross by cable car or canopy, or just take a few photos if you wish.
After this you will pass through the first tunnel, where you can admire the wonderful landscape that forms the Pastaza River canyon. In this passage you will enjoy the beautiful fall that is "La Puerta del Cielo," it is an amazing waterfall that falls on the road. Then next you will come to the bridge Rio Blanco, where we do the bungee jumping. There are two different heights you can jump from 35 meters for 10USD or 45 meters for 15USD. Now that you adrenaline is pumping, you continue cycling to the beautiful waterfall of "Manto de la Novia." This is an impressive waterfall of over 60 meters; here you can cross the river Pastaza by cable car over top the waterfall or across the suspension bridge. Then continue on to the falls of St. George and San Pedro, where you have another photo opportunity.
Finally we reach the village of Rio Verde, where you leave your bike in the garage points (50 cents) and then walk for about 20 minutes to reach the famous waterfall El Pailón Del Diablo, and then you cross a suspension bridge over the Pastaza River. Here we have the opportunity to get close to the bottom of the waterfall and even behind it. This site is known as the "Grieta al Cielo".
After visiting El Pailón Del Diablo, you can cycle for another 5 minutes to Machay, which is famous for its beautiful waterfalls. At the Rocio waterfall you can swim and refuel, in case you would like to continue your journey to the city of Puyo. You can easily return to Banos from here in the back of a truck or on the bus.
